Digital Marketing in times of coronavirus
Even if you, entrepreneur, do not want to admit it, the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation will indeed influence your business. This is the moment when Digital Marketing can contribute a lot.
In recent days, many corporations are adopting remote work to avoid the spread of the virus. Although Digital Marketing is not limited to remote work, those who already have a defined digital strategy have an advantage.
But let's take it slow. There is no point in shooting content on social media, email marketing and ads if you are not clear about the target audience your company wants to reach, attract and relate to.
Companies that already have defined Digital Marketing initiatives have advantages in times of crisis.
When I talk about "defined Digital Marketing initiatives," I mean Digital Planning, content schedule and frequency, tool mastery, market knowledge, target audience awareness and personas, goals, tests, among other points.
Possibilities that the digital environment provides: - Creation of content consistent with the current moment. - Ease of conducting live broadcasts and other online events. - Agility in digital communication processes. - Familiarity with tools and systems. - Ability to evaluate product and/or service demands. - Knowledge of market metrics and your company's online presence.
In short, Digital Marketing alone will not save any company from this crisis, but it can be a great differentiator.
